The Hearing Center offers four styles of hearing aids that our professionals tailor to each patient's personal needs. The four styles offered include:

Completely-in-the-Canal (CIC) - These aids are the smallest available. They fit deep in a patient's ear hidden in the shadow of the ear.

In-the-Canal (ITC) - These hearing aids are small enough to fit almost entirely in the ear canal, reducing their visibility significantly. They can accomodate a user volume control.

Over-the-Ear (OTE) - These aids tuck behind the ear and attach by an ultra-thin tube to a clear, flexible ear tip placed out of sight in the ear. This style aid provides a very natural sound quality and open-fit feel.

In-the-Ear (ITE) - These in-ear hearing aids are one-piece instruments designed to fit within the outer ear. They are the most versatile style of aid. Their size makes them easier to handle and accomodate more options such as directional microphones and telephone pick-up.
